Jordan and Hannah are first-generation farmers who came to me needing help getting their business off the ground and online. We developed their messaging, arranged a photo session, and put it all together in a clean, user-friendly website.
Branding & social media marketing: the Regenerative Organic Alliance

The ROA oversees Regenerative Organic Certified, a new label for food & fiber products that meet the highest standards in the world for soil health, animal welfare, and social fairness.
As their Communications Lead, I created their mission, vision & values statement (below). I also helped them create a consistent brand image across all their documents, presentations, social media accounts, and other communications with graphic design. I launched and managed ROA's social media. By build a library of stock images, creating a template for visual statistics, and designing a strategy to educate and inspire, we grew their Instagram account from 1k to 18.5k followers in one year.
I also helped the ROA revise and update their Wordpress website to better serve their audience. We revised the homepage, added interactive online forms, and improved the functionality and user experience.

Messaging & website design: McGinty's Landscaping
McGinty's Landscaping has been serving clients successfully for decades, but their website was out of date, unattractive, and dysfunctional. I revised their messaging to get and keep the attention of their best customers, then built a Squarespace website to drive sales on every page.
Modern storytelling for a legacy brand: Rodale Institute

Rodale Institute, a nonprofit pioneer in organic and regenerative organic agriculture since 1942, was preparing to re-do their website when I joined the team. I led the project to create 100+ pages of educational content about organic farming methods and the Institute's work. You can browse through the "Why Organic?" section on their website to see some samples of my writing.
We also filmed student testimonials for use on social media and email campaigns & created educational signage now displayed throughout the Institute's 333-acre organic farm and research facility.
Messaging & website design: Styer's Peonies
Styer's Peonies wanted to sell more flowers direct-to-consumer through their website, but the site wasn't attractive and its language was confusing to new visitors. I revised their messaging and redesigned their existing Big Commerce website. [Note: at the time I took these screenshots, the online store was closed for the season, so you won't see a store in the menu bar in these images.]

Brecht Mountain Farm wanted an e-commerce website so they could sell their lavender products even when they weren't at the farmer's market. I built them a site with a combination of product images and stock photography. [Note: Since we started their website, they have tragically lost the farm. This website cannot be accessed live.]

Pasture Song Farm
Farmers Clara Osborne and Jeremy Dunphy raise pastured chicken, forage-grazed pork, and crops for their hogs as well as specialty cut flowers in Pottstown, PA.
Wid Fox Provisions
Wild Fox Farms is a regenerative hemp, vegetable, and livestock farm in Barto, Pennsylvania. We photographed the farm over the course of a season to build a library of images that showcase their work for their website, social media, and beyond.
The Kitchen Garden Series
Heidi Barr, a Philadelphia-based textile designer and founder of the Kitchen Garden Series, has teamed up with Kneehigh Farm for an experiment growing and processing flax. Together, they're exploring the possibilities of local, regenerative fibersheds. Heidi has brought me on to document the series—including a special fundraising dinner—to assist with storytelling and fundraising for the project.
