Branding & social media marketing: the Regenerative Organic Alliance

The ROA oversees Regenerative Organic Certified, a new label for food & fiber products produced using the highest standards for environmental, social, and ethical impact. I created their mission, vision & values statement (below) from notes captured at a brainstorming session between the Board of Directors.
I also work with the ROA to launch their social media and grow an audience quickly by building a library of stock images, creating a template for visual statistics, and designing an Instagram strategy to educate and inspire.
I can't take credit for "Farm Like the World Depends On it"—that was someone else's good work!
Modern storytelling for a legacy brand: Rodale Institute

Rodale Institute, a nonprofit pioneer in organic and regenerative organic agriculture since 1942, was preparing to re-do their website when I joined the team. I led the project to create 100+ pages of educational content about organic farming methods and the Institute's work (see examples below & visit their website to browse in its entirety).
We filmed student testimonials for use on social media and email campaigns & created educational signage now displayed throughout the Institute's 333-acre organic farm and research facility.

Looking for a way to educate their supporters while raising funds through a targeted email marketing campaign, Rodale Institute and I collaborated on a 5-part series dismantling the myths surrounding organic farming and food production. I conceptualized, researched, and wrote each piece.
Fundraising with heart: a film for the Wardensville Garden Market
The Wardensville Garden Market is an organic farm, bakery, and market in Wardensville, WV that provides career training, education, and employment to more than 50 local high-school students. We teamed up to tell the story of their growth through the voices of staff and students. I directed, produced, shot, and edited the video.

Photography to inspire: images for Kneehigh Farm
Emma Cunniff is the farmer at Kneehigh Farm in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. In 2020, she collaborated with textile designer Rebecca Deutsch to grow, process, and dye with indigo, a crop with potential to revitalize American fibersheds. Now looking to grow the project, Emma is applying for funding. I worked with her to photograph their community workshop and boost her grant applications with visual punch.
